1st World Federation of Vascular Societies (WFVS) Congress   |
Stellenbosch |
2 - 5 October 2014

The Vascular Society of Southern Africa (VASSA) will host the first World Federation of Vascular Societies (WFVS) congress that will be fully dedicated to the WFVS for the first time from 2-5 October 2014, Stellenbosch, South Africa. In the past the member societies would host WFVS symposia as part of their congresses, this will be the first stand alone meeting. Thought leaders in Vascular Surgery around the world will be involved in this congress. It will also be the first time that the congress is held in South Africa. The VASSA congress usually attracts approximately 150 surgeons, the aim for the WFVS congress is to attract 350+ delegates from all member societies of the WFVS (based in Europe, North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, India and Japan and Asia). In addition, surgeons with an interest in vascular diseases from the rest of Africa will be invited. Regards, Martin Veller, Congress Chairman - WFVS Congress 2014
