I am currently a Medical Officer in Surgery Department of CMJAH. I am driven by opportunities that allow me to empower and make an impact in the lives of others. I am passionate about the Surgical Discipline with a special interest in Orthopeadic Surgery. Through SASSiT I hope to support and strengthen the community of Surgeons in training of Southern Africa. I will aim to further build the SASSiT brand by strengthening our relationships with the public and private sector. Through diverse and sustainable partnerships, we with see growth Nationally and Internationally.

He is a hard working, goal orientated and compassionate person who strives for academic excellence and collective empowerment of fellow registrars in a demanding field. Past president of the Wits Students Surgical Society, founder of the Southern African Students Surgical Society , founder and secretary general of the IASSS, founder of the Program for equitable access to Surgical Care in South Africa. Her research focuses on workforce retention amongst hospital staff, establishing and improving theatre complex management focusing on productivity, surgical education, training and finding solutions to making surgery safe and accessible.
